Now Hiring - Optician / Optical Sales in Highland, UT

About us: Timpanogos Vision Center in Highland and Pleasant Grove is a professional private Optometry practice. We have been serving the vision needs of northern Utah County for over 20 years. We are a small but busy practice that is rapidly growing.

We are needing an experienced Optician. Optical experience is STRONGLY PREFERRED- but will train the right person. We are looking for those who are passionate about providing superior customer service to our patients. We are technology driven so computer competence and the ability to use different testing instruments is necessary. Duties include frame styling, eyewear adjusting/dispensing, presenting premium lens options, answering phones, making appointments, billing insurance, ordering glasses/contacts, pretesting patients, etc. Optical and contact lens sales are an important part of our practice. We don't do commission sales (we do have a generous bonus program) but the ability to present premium frame/lens options effectively is important to us. Due to the nature of the position the ability to multitask and work accurately are essential. We are also looking for those who are planning on being in the area long term and are looking for long term employment. Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
